Orchid Blush

One small bud spun to blossom from a breathing spindle, is gently suspended. White petals extend like wings, in perfect bilateral symmetry and synchronicity. A soft blush spreads across the satyrion, like the abashed Orchis, son of sleeping nymph and piper father. The rosy tint collects at her center, leaving a bright chroma at its edges, then moving on to the next. Moving on to the tranquility of fountains, the heat of the tropics, and the crudity of the Himalayans. This Chinese prince takes a pinch of earth and water, a dash of sunset powder, and with a dew of the world, makes an aging prism through which we admire and replay these dramas in our minds.
